Sometimes moving on seems harder than staying in a toxic situation. It is a fear that the moment we let go, we are too vulnerable to ever make a step again. After a couple of days, we wonder why we still do not feel better. Why things are still in our head. We wonder how much longer it is going to take, but truth is, that this, these questions are the healing process.
We have to keep the wounds open until it heals. In the meantime, we need to learn how to forgive ourselves. The day will come when the biggest question will rise and we wonder what we are bleeding for, but until then, keep the wound open. Teach yourself how to be free.
